Introduction
The idea for Cirro came from a simple frustration — sending money internationally shouldn’t feel like solving a puzzle. Most existing apps made the process confusing, with unclear exchange rates and disjointed flows.
I took on this project as a solo designer to reimagine what a modern cross-border payment experience could look like — one that feels fast, transparent, and genuinely human.
The Challenge
For many people, sending or receiving money internationally means stress. Between confusing exchange rates, hidden fees, and clunky mobile experiences, it’s hard to feel in control of your own finances.
The challenge was to design a cross-border payment app that removes friction, communicates transparency, and gives users a sense of confidence with every transaction.
